His father lost his one leg in the Kargil war

His father was a retired army officer who lost his left leg in the Kargil war against Pakistan. His father told us that he somehow survived in that fight, he Scrolls down from the mountain and survived but 5 of his friends die in that war. After retiring from the army he was working in a Rajasthan government job.

What is his education qualification and 10th and 12th percentage?

He scored 95% in the class 10th examination and 93% in the class 12th examination, He completed his graduation degree in Btech electric engineering with an 8.6 cgpa.
Till class 5 he read in his village primary school after that he moves to a public school in nimka till class 7th after that he completed his 7th to 12th in The Rajasthan school kotputly. After completing his school life he move to Jaipur for IIT preparation, after cracking the IIT examination he joined IIT Ropar and completed his B.tech in electrical engineering degree.

When did he think to give UPSC examination?

He told us that, in the final year of his college he decided to give UPSC examination. His father told him that you have to serve his country and This is his father’s dream that his son should become an IAS officer. His father gives him motivation and courage. He supports him throughout his UPSC preparation.

How many attempts did he take to clear the UPSC examination?

He took three attempts to clear this examination. In the year 2019 he took his first attempt at the UPSC, he cleared both the Prelims and main examinations but did not able to clear the Interview.

On his second attempt, he again failed in the Interview, he told us that interview is the most difficult part for him. he failed twice in the Interview part.

2020 in his third and final attempt he not only cleared the UPSC examination but hold the air 9 rank all over India.

Did He take coaching for UPSC preparation?

Yes, After completing his graduate degree he move to Delhi and joined Vajiram Ias academy for more than one year. He took his first attempt from Delhi. In the year 2020, when corona hit the country he moved to his village. He starts self-study and clear the UPSC examination.

How did he handle his failure and demotivation?

When he was not able to clear the UPSC examination on his 2nd attempt, that time he feels demotivated and down, but after a few days, he felt that he is very close to clearing this examination. Again he starts his UPSC preparation for his third attempt. He told us, he never feels demotivated from his study, yes sometimes he becomes bored so he left his study and watch some movies or play with his dog.

how many hours did you study for UPSC preparation?

When he start his UPSC preparation that time he study almost 15hrs in a day but after a few days, he down his study to 10hr a day. He advised that you have to keep your output around 10 to 12hrs in a day.

What is his optional subject in the UPSC examination?

Mathematics is his optional subject. Math is his favorite subject in school and he scored very well in mathematics in his 10th and 12th examination that’s why he chose this subject as his optional subject n the UPSC examination.

Which newspaper did he read for the UPSC preparation?

He read the Hindu newspaper. He told us that editorials in the Hindu newspaper are very good, they are very helpful, and even questions do come from the newspaper. If you make notes from the newspaper then it will help you in the exam hall.
