He is a hard worker

This sentence can be further divided into two parts: the adjective “hard-working” and the noun “worker.” A noun is required before the adjective can be used. Hence, the complete sentence is “He is a hard-working man.” The adjectives “hard-working” and “worker” require a noun. The adjective “hard-working” also needs a noun.
